Strange Hobby: Google Maps Street View

Perhaps one of the most wasteful and addictively-fun things you can do on the web is go to street view and see what everything looks like.

I did this today for about 23 minutes to re-vist a place in Spain I had been 2 years ago and this is what I saw.

Turns out while I was listening to Enya and Enigma, this group was making the sickest beats.

Yet there seems to be this constant ethereal nature to their music and sound, combining the 90's synths and the otheworldly repetition of foreign languages!

this last week end I had the privelege to be with some good friends of mine in Niagara Falls.

I had only been there as a small child and did not recollect the famous falls.

Someone had said they were overrated.

They lied.

It was one of the best experiences I have had in quite some time.

This last week I had some meetings in Portland, I took advantage of the time and went to Boston to visit my dear cousin and met up with my GF Sarah.

Caught in the rain. Cannoli in the North End. Bus ride to Portland.

Once in Maine we made sure to love nature even though it was cold and windy.

New York: Hidden Places

Somewhere around 207th street in the vicinity of Inwood, lies a land I had not yet ventured.

I was going through NYC on my way to CT, MA and ME... I had 5 hours to hang out with my Girlfriend.

By divine providence she had a gift certificate to a restaurant in this neighborhood and we ate and explored.

When you think NYC you dont think cloisters or forest like parks, but in this small niche of NYC this exists. It was a great 5 hours.

Country Side Dinner

The last week end I went to a spiritual retreat with some friends from Church... we were in search of food and we found it nestled in the back woods of PA. In between a post-conceptual sculpture and an amish buggy.
